Non Resident Unit

The Non Resident Unit(NR)  was established under the Student Services Center (PKP) and officially started its operations at the Student Housing Unit on 22nd March 2021. The unit is led by a Principal, a Student Fellow, and an Assistant Registrar.The NR unit was created to identify the presence of students who reside off-campus and to oversee their welfare. Additionally, the NR unit provides a platform of information on rental accommodations for students who intend to reside off-campus.
Here are some key areas that an Non Resident Unit(NR) typically covers:
  • Advice and guidance regarding rental arrangements.
  • Providing information and data on rental houses.
  • Providing future planning for off-campus accommodation facilities.

  • Identifying the whereabouts of students who reside off-campus at all times is essential to facilitate communication between UNIMAS management, particularly during unexpected situations.
  • By maintaining accurate records and contact information of off-campus students, UNIMAS management can quickly reach out to them during emergencies, critical events, or any situation that requires immediate communication or assistance.
  • This information allows UNIMAS to provide timely updates, instructions, and support to ensure the safety and well-being of off-campus students. It also aids in coordinating any necessary resources or assistance that may be required during unforeseen circumstances.
  • By proactively identifying the whereabouts of off-campus students, UNIMAS can effectively respond to any emergent situation and ensure the well-being and security of its student community.
