Welcome to PKP

Student Affairs and Alumni Office (PHEPA) was established in October 2002 led by a Deputy Vice-Chancellor. Starting from the establishment of the Student Development Centre (PPP) in 1993, PHEPA is now an entity responsible for its main customers in providing a variety of basic services and facilities to students towards achieving academic excellence. In the PHEPA restructuring, it is mandated to make the campus a conducive environment and achieve the vision and mission of the university. Its function and responsibilities have become so significant that PHEPA has expanded its wings in order to contribute to the success and excellence of its students, thus elevating the glory of the university.

Holistic Student

An individual who embraces a well-rounded approach to education and personal development. Rather than solely focusing on academics, a holistic student strives to balance various aspects of their life, including intellectual, emotional, physical, and social well-being. They understand that learning goes beyond textbooks and classroom lectures, and they actively seek opportunities to grow and explore their interests in different areas.

Student Governance and Policy

Structure, processes, and policies that govern the participation, representation, and decision-making of students within an educational institution.

Student Discipline (Non Academic)

Responsible for maintaining discipline and promoting a conducive and safe environment for students outside of academic settings. This unit handles matters related to student conduct, behavior, and adherence to the rules and regulations of the university.

Student Training and Leadership

Dedicated to providing students with opportunities for personal growth, skill development, and leadership training. This unit aims to empower students to become effective leaders, enhance their personal and professional capabilities, and contribute positively to their communities.

Club/Association/Student Secretariat Activities

Activities that refer to the various events, initiatives, and programs organized by student clubs, associations, and the Student Secretariat within the university. These activities play a significant role in promoting student engagement, fostering a sense of community, and providing opportunities for personal and skill development outside of academic studies.

Student Activities (Non-Academic)

Awide range of extracurricular activities and initiatives that take place outside of formal academic studies. These activities are designed to enhance the overall student experience, promote personal growth, and provide opportunities for social interaction, skill development, and exploration of interests.

Student Activity Acquisition

Process of obtaining or acquiring various student activities or programs within an educational institution. It involves identifying, selecting, and implementing a wide range of extracurricular activities, clubs, organizations, and events that cater to the interests and needs of the students.

Student Welfare

Refers to the support and services provided to promote the well-being, welfare, and holistic development of students within an educational institution. It involves addressing the various needs and concerns of students to ensure their overall welfare and enhance their educational experience.

The Psychology and Counseling Unit

The Psychology and Counseling Unit plays a vital role in supporting the well-being and mental health of students at UNIMAS. The certified counselors provide professional counseling services to assist students in addressing personal, emotional, and academic challenges. The unit may offer individual counseling sessions, group counseling, workshops, and other programs aimed at promoting mental health, resilience, and personal development among students.
